Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Firehouse Subs Team Member to join our team in Weston. This position plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring efficient service. As a Firehouse Subs Team Member, you will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the overall dining experience, from greeting customers to assisting with food service. Duties Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and positive first impression. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing the cash register system. Ensuring cleanliness throughout the dining area. Handle cash transactions with precision, maintaining accurate cash handling practices. Support kitchen staff by delivering food orders promptly and assisting with food handling as needed. Maintain knowledge of menu items and daily specials to provide recommendations to guests. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe dining environment. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service for all customers. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash registers and basic math skills for accurate cash handling is essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly valued. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when needed.
