About Us Spring Creek Golf Center is a top-ranked, 9-hole par 3 golf course in Whitewater, Wisconsin, twice recognized as one of the Top 12 Par 3 Courses in the US by Golf Range Magazine. We feature full-length par 3s, triple tees, and pristine bent grass surfaces. Under new ownership, we have completely revamped our facilities, launching a remodeled clubhouse with a full bar and a brand-new full-service kitchen. We are looking for an energetic and reliable Kitchen Helper to join our food and beverage team as we elevate our guests' golfing experience. Position Summary The Kitchen Helper will assist our culinary team in daily food service operations, ensuring our golfers and guests enjoy excellent meals before or after their rounds. You will support the kitchen by handling prep work, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting our Kitchen Manager during our regular restaurant hours. Our kitchen is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and Sundays from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM (closed on Mondays).
Key Responsibilities Food Preparation:
Assist cooks by washing, peeling, chopping, and organizing ingredients.
Station Support:
Help assemble dishes and ensure the kitchen line is fully stocked for service.
Sanitation & Cleaning:
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, and cooking equipment. Keep countertops, floors, and storage areas clean and sanitized.
Inventory & Receiving:
Assist with receiving food deliveries, organizing the pantry, and rotating stock properly.
Waste Management:
Dispose of trash and recycling safely and efficiently.
Compliance:
Strictly follow all local food safety and sanitation guidelines. Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a positive, welcoming attitude. Must be able to stand for extended periods and comfortably lift up to 30 lbs. Availability to work shifts that align with our operating hours, including weekends. Why Join the Spring Creek Team?
