Job Description
Job Summary Join the Best Aquatic Team as a Lifeguard, where your primary mission is to ensure the safety and well-being of all pool visitors. As a vigilant and proactive guardian of water safety, you will monitor swimming areas, enforce rules, and respond swiftly to emergencies. Your energetic presence will help create a secure, enjoyable environment for guests of all ages, promoting confidence in water activities while maintaining high standards of public safety and guest service. This is a part time, year round position. AM/PM and weekend shifts. Duties Constantly observe pool areas to identify potential hazards, unsafe behaviors, or distress signals among swimmers and guests. Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and promote responsible swimming behavior. Respond promptly and effectively to water emergencies, including water rescues, medical incidents, or injuries, utilizing water rescue response protocols. Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, following established first aid protocols and medical emergency response procedures. Conduct routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning tiles, vacuuming pool and skimming debris. Straighten furniture Provide excellent guest services by assisting visitors with pool rules, answering questions about aquatic facilities, and ensuring a welcoming environment. Support pool operations by performing basic maintenance tasks like pool cleaning and checking safety equipment functionality. Educate guests on water safety practices and offer water safety instruction to children and inexperienced swimmers. Skills Proven lifeguard experience with current certification in
