Job Description

As a nonprofit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), we offer a full continuum of care including independent living, assisted living, memory care, and healthcare services, tailored to the evolving needs of seniors. We are committed to enhancing lives, sharing resources, and collaborating with local organizations to foster a supportive, vibrant, and inclusive community.
Schedule:
Monday:
8am
  • 1pm 3 shifts per week (averaging 16 hours/week) Typical evening shift hours: 1pm
  • 7pm (averaging 2 evening shifts per week) Covid-19 vaccine is strongly encouraged, however not required Qualifications CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
  • Westminster Village will provide training free of charge for willing candidates Must be able to move, stand, bend, and lift throughout the work day Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move equipment, supplies, or materials weighing a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
The Front Desk Attendant will assist in maintaining the fitness rooms, natatorium, and equipment, assuring safety and cleanliness of all fitness facilities, and promoting active resident participation in appropriate exercise and multi-dimensional activities programs. The Front Desk Attendant contributes to the overall success of the Wellness Program by embodying the mission, vision and values of Westminster Village. Position Outcomes Maintains professional standards among residents and employees. These standards include punctuality, proper attire and the creation and maintenance of a friendly, safe, and motivating training relationship Constantly strives for excellence in the Front Desk Attendant position. Serve as a knowledgeable and responsible information source to all residents, employees, and members Properly completes and turns in all paperwork related to members Attends all mandatory staff meetings, including continuing education sessions Handles financial transactions for members Maintains a safe and clean exercise environment within the natatorium and fitness rooms Follows all quality assurance and other policies and procedures of Westminster Village Behaviors Is goal and results oriented, with a sense that dignity, comfort, life vitality, and personal enjoyment for older adults is a worthy goal Can work toward several objectives, with a sense of balance and optimism Enjoys enhancing the quality of life for a diverse group of older adults Can be flexible in many aspects of job performance Responds to directions and suggestions from supervisor in a timely and positive
