Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Swim Instructor or Lifeguard at the Little Dolphin Swim Academy! In this dynamic role, you will be the cornerstone of safety and skill development for our children age 3 and older. We will train you to maximize your energy, expertise, and enthusiasm will to inspire confidence in children while ensuring a safe, fun, and engaging aquatic environment. Whether teaching swimming techniques or monitoring pool safety, your proactive approach will help foster a love for water activities and promote healthy, active lifestyles. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while honing your coaching and lifesaving skills. Duties Deliver LDSA curriculum tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers. Lead and motivate children during swim classes fostering teamwork, good behavior, and confidence through effective behavior management strategies Maintain tracking records for student skills. records of attendance, progress reports, incident reports, and safety logs to ensure compliance with health and safety standards Experience If applying for lifeguard a current lifeguard cert. For teaching demonstrated experience working with children in educational or recreational settings Background in sports coaching or physical education instruction such as soccer coaching, basketball coaching, cheerleading, climbing activities or martial arts like karate or judo Proven ability to lead teams or groups effectively while maintaining a positive environment Experience teaching physical education or sports-specific training programs is highly desirable Strong communication skills to clearly convey instructions and foster a welcoming atmosphere for clients of all ages Join us at Little Dolphin Swim Academy where your passion for water safety and sports coaching can truly make waves!
