Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care and efficiency. Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and steamers to maintain cleanliness standards. Use appropriate chemical agents for cleaning and sanitation while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines to prevent hazards. Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, and applying floor cleaning techniques to keep all areas safe and visually appealing. Support janitorial tasks in public areas by cleaning restrooms, hallways, lobby spaces, and other communal zones with attention to detail. Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures and emergency protocols to ensure resident safety and satisfaction at all times. Handle heavy lifting of linens or cleaning supplies safely during daily tasks while practicing manual handling best practices. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests related to housekeeping needs or laundry services. Experience Prior experience in housekeeping or custodial work is highly preferred. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and techniques used in healthcare settings. Knowledge of sanitation standards, emergency procedures, safety data sheets (SDS), and chemical handling protocols. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during routine cleaning tasks. Previous janitorial or custodial experience within healthcare environment is advantageous. Strong understanding of housekeeping management practices combined with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
