Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Perform detailed floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing to maintain spotless and safe flooring throughout the hotel. Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, and linens efficiently while ensuring inventory accuracy. Maintain cleanliness in public areas including hallways, lobbies, elevators, and restrooms to create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. Follow safety procedures during cleaning activities, especially when handling industrial cleaning equipment or hazardous materials. Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety. Adhere to all hotel policies regarding sanitation standards, security protocols, and customer service excellence. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping within a hotel or hospitality environment is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care and industrial cleaning methods. Familiarity with custodial equipment and supplies used in professional cleaning settings. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is a plus but not required. Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects safely, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks effectively.
