Housekeeping Aide Job Summary:

Delmar Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Housekeeping Aide to join our team. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our residents' rooms and common areas. Responsibilities:

Cleaning and disinfecting of resident rooms and bathrooms, including sinks, mirrors, shelves, walls, doors, and floors Cleaning and disinfecting of ancillary areas and common areas, including therapy areas, halls, offices, and public restrooms Assisting with resident room changes and completing terminal room cleaning as appropriate Completing an eight-step cleaning procedure and ensuring that all areas are clean and sanitized Maintaining knowledge of housekeeping equipment and operating carpet/upholstering equipment, auto scrubbing and burnishing equipment Completing cleaning schedules daily and ensuring that necessary documentation is completed Maintaining a safe and hazard-free environment by following proper procedures for infection control and using personal protective equipment as necessary Providing excellent customer service and promoting a customer satisfaction focus

Requirements:

0 years of experience required High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes in assignments Ability to lift, bend, and move equipment and supplies as needed Ability to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends

Work Environment:

Work environment is a senior care facility with a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere Must be able to work in a confined space and navigate through areas with limited mobility Must be able to work in an environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
