Duties Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle various cleaning agents safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical handling protocols Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and perform floor care to maintain pristine surfaces Manage heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or large supplies with proper manual handling techniques Restock amenities like towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest needs are met promptly Follow hotel emergency procedures in case of incidents or safety concerns while maintaining a secure environment Use cleaning equipment efficiently, including vacuums, buffers, and industrial cleaning tools, ensuring proper maintenance and safety compliance Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is highly preferred Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and floor care techniques is advantageous Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices enhances your ability to coordinate tasks effectively Experience handling chemical agents safely and understanding safety data sheets (SDS) is essential Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and team members Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality roles demonstrates your commitment to service excellence Embark on a rewarding career where your skills contribute directly to guest satisfaction!
