Handle various cleaning tasks such as floor care, chemical agent handling, and janitorial duties using appropriate cleaning equipment. Maintain public areas like lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other hotel spaces with meticulous attention to sanitation and presentation. Follow safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and hotel emergency procedures during all cleaning activities to ensure safety for yourself and guests. Manage heavy lifting tasks when moving furniture or supplies safely and efficiently while adhering to manual handling protocols. Use proper chemical handling techniques to ensure safe use of cleaning agents and prevent accidents or contamination. Collaborate with hotel management and housekeeping teams to uphold cleanliness standards and improve guest satisfaction through excellent customer service. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial work with strong janitorial or industrial cleaning background. Skilled in floor cleaning, vacuuming, sanitation practices, and the use of cleaning equipment. Knowledge of chemical handling procedures, safety data sheets (SDS), and proper use of cleaning agents. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining safety protocols. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety guidelines to handle unexpected situations confidently. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cleaning tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
