Duties Perform floor cleaning and floor care using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents to ensure spotless surfaces. Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and proper chemical handling procedures. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of furniture, equipment, and supplies to set up or break down banquet spaces efficiently. Maintain sanitation standards through vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and detailed cleaning of all banquet areas. Assist with hotel housekeeping tasks by supporting custodial activities and ensuring cleanliness throughout the event spaces. Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns, ensuring guest and staff safety at all times. Support hotel housekeeping management by adhering to established protocols for janitorial and industrial cleaning tasks. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with a focus on sanitation and floor cleaning. Strong knowledge of cleaning equipment operation, including vacuums, buffers, and other janitorial tools. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while maintaining compliance with SDS guidelines. Excellent manual handling skills for heavy lifting and moving furniture or equipment efficiently. Exceptional customer service skills to support guests and team members with professionalism and courtesy.
