Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment. Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical handling protocols. Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and care for different flooring surfaces to maintain pristine conditions. Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies while following proper safety procedures. Restock amenities, linens, and supplies to ensure guest rooms are fully prepared for new arrivals. Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns. Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning high-touch surfaces regularly and ensuring all areas meet health regulations. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles with strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment. Expertise in floor care, including floor cleaning, stripping, sealing, waxing, and polishing as needed. Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while maintaining safety standards. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Physical stamina for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting, prolonged standing, walking, vacuuming, and moving supplies. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices and hospitality industry standards. Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and custodial procedures to ensure comprehensive sanitation across all areas.
