Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to ensure our guest rooms and common areas are spotless, sanitized, and inviting. This vital role involves maintaining cleanliness standards, managing laundry tasks, and delivering outstanding customer service to enhance the overall guest experience. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, suites, and common areas, including dusting, surface cleaning, and floor care using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures in accordance with IHG Training to uphold health standards and ensure a safe environment for guests and staff Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and specialized floor care techniques Manage janitorial supplies inventory, ensuring all cleaning equipment is maintained and properly stored Communicate effectively with guests regarding their housekeeping needs and preferences to deliver personalized service Assist with outdoor work when necessary to keep exterior areas tidy and welcoming Requirements Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is strongly preferred Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor cleaning methods, carpet cleaning, and sanitation protocols Ability to handle heavy lifting safely during laundry tasks or moving furniture and equipment Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members Physical stamina for manual handling activities including dusting, sweeping, and mopping Join Candlewood Suites Jackson in creating clean, comfortable spaces that leave lasting impressions!
