Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all assigned spaces, including dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and cleaning windows to ensure a spotless environment. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures consistently to meet health and safety standards. Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items with care. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents effectively while adhering to safety guidelines for manual handling and heavy lifting. Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to preserve their appearance and safety. Manage outdoor work tasks including outdoor surface cleaning and ensuring exterior areas are tidy and inviting. Communicate professionally with guests and coworkers to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service. Manage time efficiently to complete all assigned tasks within scheduled shifts while maintaining high-quality standards. Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in residential cleaning, custodial work, janitorial services, or related roles is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, equipment, detergents, sanitation procedures, and floor care techniques is essential. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely when necessary. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout each shift. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients or residents. Outdoor work experience is a plus for handling exterior cleaning tasks effectively. Familiarity with carpet cleaning methods and outdoor surface maintenance is desirable. Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
