Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely to clean floors, carpets, surfaces, and fixtures. Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when required, including sweeping walkways or patios. Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards. Communicate professionally with clients regarding their specific cleaning needs or concerns to ensure satisfaction. Assist with housekeeper management tasks as needed to support team operations and client requests. Practice manual handling techniques for heavy lifting or moving furniture safely to prevent injury. Follow janitorial procedures for waste disposal and sanitation to uphold health standards across all areas. Experience Prior experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is highly preferred. Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation practices is essential. Experience using various cleaning equipment such as vacuums,, steam cleaners, and dusters is advantageous. Knowledge of cleaning detergents and proper handling of cleaning chemicals ensures safety and effectiveness. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their expectations. Previous janitorial or custodial experience demonstrates reliability in maintaining cleanliness standards. Outdoor work experience is beneficial for tasks involving exterior areas or patios.
