Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Houseman to join our hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of guest areas and public spaces. Duties Perform floor cleaning and care using various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and mops to ensure spotless surfaces throughout the property Handle chemical agents safely by understanding and following Safety Data Sheets (SDS) guidelines for proper storage, usage, and disposal Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks to move furniture, supplies, or equipment as needed for cleaning or maintenance purposes Maintain high standards of sanitation in guest rooms, hallways, public restrooms, and other designated areas by executing thorough cleaning routines Assist with hotel housekeeping management tasks including replenishing supplies, organizing storage areas, and supporting housekeeping staff during busy periods Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure guest safety during incidents or evacuations Use cleaning equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure optimal results Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial work, or industrial cleaning environments is highly preferred Knowledge of floor care techniques and experience with various cleaning methods and equipment Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly by understanding SDS documentation and practicing safe handling procedures Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, vacuuming, and extended periods of standing or walking Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety standards within hospitality settings Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping management is advantageous but not required Demonstrated reliability in maintaining cleanliness standards while working efficiently under time constraints Join our team to help create a pristine environment that delights guests at every turn! Pay:
