Part-Time Housekeeper / Household Assistant — $25/hour We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Housekeeper / Household Assistant to help with the day-to-day upkeep and organization of our home. This is a part-time position averaging 20 hours per week , approximately 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday , at $25 per hour . The specific daily schedule is flexible and can be discussed based on availability. We are looking for someone interested in a consistent, ongoing position. There is also potential to increase hours in the future if mutually desired. The ideal person is proactive, trustworthy, comfortable working independently, and enjoys keeping a home clean, organized, and running smoothly. We would love to find someone who can take ownership of routine household tasks and notice things that need to be done without requiring detailed direction each day. Responsibilities Household Cleaning & Upkeep Daily general cleaning and tidying Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms Washing dishes and loading/unloading dishwasher Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting as needed Taking out trash and recycling Changing bed linens and other routine household upkeep Light outdoor cleaning, such as washing accessible first-floor windows and removing spiderwebs around doors, windows, and patio areas Laundry Washing and drying clothing, towels, and linens Folding or hanging clothes Putting clean laundry away in the appropriate closets and drawers Pet-Related Tasks Scooping and maintaining cat litter boxes Occasional other basic cat-related household tasks as needed Must be comfortable around cats Errands Running nearby household errands, such as: Grocery shopping or grocery pickup Picking up/dropping off dry cleaning Returns or other small local errands Light Food Prep Occasional light cooking or meal preparation, depending on comfort and experience Examples might include making eggs, washing and cutting fruit, chopping vegetables, or preparing simple snacks/meals Household Organization Helping maintain organized closets, cabinets, pantry, refrigerator, and other household spaces Putting household items back in their proper places Periodic organization projects as needed Schedule & Pay $25/hour Approximately 20 hours per week Monday-Friday, approximately 4 hours per day Exact daily hours are flexible and can be discussed Potential to increase hours in the future Consistent, ongoing position Ideal Candidate Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy Detail-oriented and takes pride in keeping a home clean and organized Proactive and able to identify tasks that need attention Comfortable working independently Comfortable with cats Able to handle normal household cleaning and light physical tasks Has reliable transportation for nearby errands Prior experience as a household assistant, housekeeper, family assistant, or similar role is preferred This position would be a great fit for someone who enjoys creating an organized, well-maintained home and is looking for a consistent part-time weekday schedule with the possibility of additional hours in the future.
