Maintain cleanliness of surfaces, fixtures, and furniture by applying proper cleaning techniques tailored to different materials. Manage outdoor work responsibilities including outdoor surface cleaning, trash removal, and yard upkeep when required. Utilize manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy objects or moving furniture to prevent injury. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and ensure their satisfaction with the service provided. Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations related to janitorial and custodial work while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Skills Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with knowledge of janitorial practices. Strong understanding of cleaning surfaces, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes. Customer service skills that foster positive client interactions and address specific needs promptly. Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper handling techniques for chemicals used in sanitation. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, outdoor work, and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
