Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, electrical systems, and mechanical repairs, with the ability to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance. This role is vital in maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building structures Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters Conduct residential painting, welding, and other repair tasks to uphold property standards Manage facilities maintenance tasks using IHG Brand Standards Supervise contractors when necessary, providing leadership and guidance Ensure compliance with safety regulations and facility protocols Assist with installation of new equipment or upgrades to existing systems Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs for reporting purposes Skills Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems. residential painting, and general mechanical repairs Experience with facilities maintenance within hospitality environments Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics accurately Excellent troubleshooting skills Good communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination Customer service orientation to address guest or staff concerns professionally Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in building repairs and preventative maintenance This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical expertise directly impacts guest satisfaction.
