Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation to uphold hygiene standards. Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure safe and effective results. Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to keep all surfaces pristine. Manage outdoor work tasks such as patio cleaning or yard tidying when required. Use janitorial equipment properly for tasks like floor cleaning, surface disinfection, and trash removal while practicing manual handling safety protocols. Communicate effectively with clients or residents regarding their specific cleaning needs or requests to enhance satisfaction. Experience Prior experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles is preferred; familiarity with custodial or janitorial work is highly advantageous. Demonstrated ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and other tools safely and efficiently. Knowledge of cleaning detergents, sanitation standards, and proper handling of cleaning supplies. Experience with outdoor work tasks related to property maintenance is a plus. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the day. Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling involved in moving furniture or large items safely. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients or residents about their expectations and feedback.
