32 hours per week Daisy Hill Senior Living is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and guests. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of resident apartments, common areas, and other community spaces. The ideal candidate is reliable, works efficiently, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in their work. Our housekeeping team also contributes to a warm and welcoming community by treating residents with kindness, respect, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Clean assigned resident apartments, common areas, offices, hallways, and guest restrooms. Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize surfaces using appropriate cleaning methods. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, fixtures, showers, tubs, countertops, and kitchen areas. Maintain floors, carpets, and rugs using appropriate equipment and cleaning products. Assist with apartment turnovers and prepare units for incoming residents. Restock housekeeping supplies and keep carts, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized. Collect and dispose of trash in designated areas. Follow all safety procedures when using, handling, and storing cleaning chemicals and equipment. Keep hallways and exits clear of cords, carts, and equipment. Report maintenance concerns or other issues observed while performing daily duties. Interact with residents, families, visitors, and team members in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner. Engage residents in appropriate, positive conversation while maintaining professional boundaries. Observe and report resident concerns or noticeable changes to the appropriate staff member. Perform other duties as assigned to support the cleanliness and overall appearance of the community. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous housekeeping, environmental services, janitorial, hospitality, or senior living experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent cleaning standards. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Friendly and compassionate demeanor with the ability to interact professionally with older adults. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and stand for extended periods. Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the workday. Additional Requirements Ability to pass a drug screen. Must meet background screening requirements.
