Job Description

Thirwood Place in South Yarmouth, Cape Cod's premier senior living community, is seeking a responsible and dependable person to join our team as a Houseperson . The Houseperson will perform a combination of cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness of the public spaces around Thirwood Place. We are home to a vibrant group of senior residents who enjoy living in a first-class community.

Houseperson responsibilities include:

Cleaning restrooms and halls, setting meeting spaces, garbage removal and vacuuming.
Cleaning hallways, common areas, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met.
Emptying wastebaskets and transporting other trash and waste to disposal areas.
Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
Clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture, using vacuum cleaners and carpet extractor. Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing floors as necessary.
Remove debris from driveways, garages, and swimming pool area.
