We are seeking a dependable, experienced, and energetic Live-In Housekeeper to help maintain a beautiful private residence and care for our small dogs. This is a long-term position with a very nice family and comfortable private living quarters provided. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and takes pride in keeping a home exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained. You must genuinely love dogs, as their daily care is an important part of this position. Schedule Regular working days are Monday through Friday Flexibility with hours is important depending on household needs There may occasionally be a need for weekend help caring for the dogs Any requested weekend work will be paid in addition to the regular salary Responsibilities Complete day-to-day housekeeping and upkeep of the residence Thorough cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, and living areas Maintain floors, surfaces, furnishings, and other areas of the home to a high standard Keep the home neat, organized, sanitary, and welcoming Handle laundry, including washing, drying, folding, ironing as needed, and organizing clothing and linens Change and maintain bed linens and towels Keep household and cleaning supplies organized and notify the family when items need to be replenished Help prepare a simple, light evening dinner for two Assist with basic kitchen cleanup and organization Help maintain outdoor areas and assist with occasional outdoor cleaning as needed Care for small dogs, including feeding, letting them outside, walking as needed, and providing companionship and attention Communicate with the family regarding household needs, schedules, and special requests Prioritize daily responsibilities independently while remaining flexible with household needs There is no babysitting or childcare. There are no small children in the home. Ideal Candidate Prior experience as a private housekeeper or in residential housekeeping preferred Excellent cleaning and organizational skills Comfortable preparing simple, healthy/light meals for two Detail-oriented and able to recognize what needs to be done without constant direction Dependable, trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of a private household Able to manage laundry and household organization carefully Good time-management and communication skills Flexible and willing to assist with changing household needs Must genuinely love dogs and be comfortable caring for small dogs Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health insurance provided Beautiful private living quarters provided Additional pay for occasional weekend dog care when requested We are looking for someone who would like to become a trusted, long-term part of our household and who takes genuine pride in maintaining a beautiful home and caring for dogs.
