WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Room Attendant, you'll be responsible for preparing guest rooms to Hampton standards and making sure every room is clean, comfortable, and ready for our guests.

You'll:

Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms Replace towels, linens, amenities, and guest supplies Clean windows, mirrors, doors, and other guest room surfaces Inspect your work and make sure each room is truly ready for the next guest Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked housekeeping cart Learn the safe and effective use of cleaning products and chemicals Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and hazardous conditions promptly Document and secure lost-and-found items Help conserve energy by properly adjusting shades, lighting, heating, and cooling in unoccupied rooms Interact with guests in a professional, friendly, and helpful manner Assist with guest requests and other housekeeping needs when necessary Work collaboratively with Housekeeping, Front Desk, Maintenance, and other hotel team members

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 16 years of age or older Previous housekeeping, cleaning, sanitation, laundry, or guest service experience is preferred, but not required Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Willingness to learn and follow Hampton cleanliness and safety standards Ability to safely use cleaning products and chemicals Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds Ability to bend, stretch, twist, reach, and remain on your feet for extended periods Reliable transportation to and from work

SCHEDULE

This is a part-time, daytime position with a mix of mostly weekday and occasionally weekend shifts if requested. Room Attendant shifts typically begin at 8:00 AM and finish when the day's assigned rooms are completed , generally around 4:00 PM. Because the amount of housekeeping work is driven by hotel occupancy and guest departures, finishing times and weekly hours may vary. Saturday and Sunday availability is a plus. Flexibility to work additional weekdays and holidays as hotel occupancy requires is strongly preferred.
