Job Requirements:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent years of work experience required. Previous housekeeping experience strongly preferred. Ability to work efficiently under time constraints. Superior customer service skills. Ability to work with cleaning chemicals. Must be able to lift, push and pull 25-50 pounds frequently. Strong interpersonal skills are a must. Spanish speaking skills desired (not mandatory).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Change and replace all bed linens. Sanitize and clean all restrooms. Dust/wipe down all room surfaces including but not limited to windows, pictures, mirrors, electronics, appliances, and furniture. Vacuum and mop all floors Restock all room amenities. Assure all rooms are set up to hotel's standards of cleanliness. Cleans and maintains personal workstation by properly stocking it with sheets, towels and amenities. Informs the Housekeeping Supervisor when rooms are ready for new guests. Ability to sustain direct contact with the public; must establish high degree of customer service (smile, eye contact, positive personal presentation etc.) and high volume of interaction with guests and staff. Reports any maintenance, security, or safety issues to the appropriate staff. Ability to abide by Grooming and Uniform Standards. Miscellaneous duties as assigned by management. Banquet aide duties including but not limited to: Arrange tables, chairs, dance floors, stages, and audio-visual equipment following Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). Stock service stations, replenish water or ice stations, and manage trash removal during the event.
