Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Houseman/Shuttle Driver to join our team, working early mornings from 4am to 11am, with weekends required. You must pass a driving record background check. Duties Perform floor cleaning, vacuuming, and general custodial tasks to uphold high standards of sanitation and cleanliness throughout the hotel premises Handle cleaning with appropriate chemical agents, adhering strictly to safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical handling protocols Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and mops efficiently to maintain floors and public areas Assist with hotel housekeeping management by supporting room attendants and ensuring common areas are spotless and well-maintained Provide safe and timely shuttle transportation for guests, staff, or supplies between designated locations within the property or nearby areas Conduct manual handling of luggage or supplies, ensuring heavy lifting is performed safely according to hotel safety procedures Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently, responding promptly to any incidents or safety concerns Experience Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a hospitality or industrial cleaning environment preferred Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices and sanitation standards highly advantageous Experience operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, or steam cleaners is desirable Knowledge of chemical agent handling and safety data sheets (SDS) compliance required Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a hospitality setting Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude towards guests and team members Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols essential for maintaining a secure environment Join us in delivering outstanding service while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety!
