Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces, ensuring they meet cleanliness standards. Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing. Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, and applying appropriate treatments to preserve flooring quality. Ensure all surfaces are sanitized properly using approved cleaning agents to promote health and safety. Replenish supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linens to ensure readiness for residents or guests. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to requests or concerns from residents or guests with a friendly attitude. Follow all safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals, equipment use, and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Experience Previous custodial or janitorial experience is highly desirable; hotel housekeeping experience is a plus. Familiarity with residential cleaning techniques and commercial cleaning practices enhances your ability to perform effectively. Knowledge of floor care methods including carpet cleaning and maintenance of various flooring types. Experience with laundry operations and proper handling of linens and clothing items. Background in housekeeper management or supervisory roles is advantageous for leadership opportunities. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
