Housekeeper Join Our 5-Star Skilled Nursing Team! We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and compassionate Housekeeper to join our team at our 5-star skilled nursing facility. Our housekeeping team plays an essential role in creating a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and staff. Position Summary The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility, including resident rooms, common areas, offices, hallways, dining areas, and other assigned spaces. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and understands the importance of maintaining a clean environment in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and assigned spaces. Follow established cleaning and infection-control procedures. Maintain floors, surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and other areas according to facility standards. Properly handle and dispose of trash and soiled materials. Replenish cleaning and personal-care supplies as needed. Use cleaning products, equipment, and chemicals safely and appropriately. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged equipment promptly. Respect residents' privacy, dignity, personal belongings, and living spaces. Interact with residents, families, and coworkers in a courteous and professional manner. Follow all facility policies, procedures, and applicable health and safety regulations. Work cooperatively with nursing, dietary, maintenance, and other departments. Maintain the high standards expected of a 5-star skilled nursing facility. Qualifications Previous housekeeping or healthcare housekeeping experience preferred. Experience in a skilled nursing, assisted living, hospital, or healthcare environment is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent service. Ability to communicate respectfully with residents, families, and coworkers. Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position.
