Duties Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks, to ensure consistent quality standards are met. Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff, promoting teamwork and high performance through effective communication and management practices. Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor staff productivity to optimize operational efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, kitchens, and service areas to uphold cleanliness, sanitation, and safety protocols. Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and adherence to sanitation standards. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and address any guest or operational concerns promptly. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; oversee proper usage and storage to prevent waste and ensure safety. Requirements Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles within hospitality or commercial settings, including industrial cleaning environments. Demonstrated supervisory experience with a strong background in team management and leadership. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management best practices. Excellent managerial communication skills for effective team supervision and customer service interactions. Ability to oversee complex cleaning operations such as laundry services and industrial cleaning tasks. Strong organizational skills with the ability to develop schedules, manage inventories, and enforce safety protocols.
