Casa Arena Healthcare is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeping / Laundry Aide to join our team! Our Housekeeping and Laundry Department plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, employees, and visitors. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and enjoys being part of a team that makes a difference every day. Previous healthcare experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate!

Key Responsibilities Housekeeping Duties:

Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common areas, and other assigned spaces Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and maintain floors and surfaces Empty trash and properly dispose of waste Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces Replenish paper products, soap, and other housekeeping supplies Follow proper infection prevention and sanitation procedures Maintain cleaning equipment and supply areas Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged equipment Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming facility

Laundry Duties:

Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing, linens, and towels Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely Ensure resident clothing and personal items are properly identified and returned Maintain appropriate separation of clean and soiled laundry Follow proper infection prevention and laundry handling procedures Keep laundry rooms, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized Monitor laundry supplies and report shortages Assist with maintaining adequate linen availability throughout the facility Qualifications Previous housekeeping, laundry, janitorial, hospitality, or healthcare experience preferred, but not required No healthcare experience necessary Dependable with good attendance and a strong work ethic Ability to follow cleaning schedules and instructions Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Friendly, respectful, and professional when interacting with residents and staff Willingness to learn proper cleaning, sanitation, and infection prevention practices Ability to perform the physical responsibilities associated with housekeeping and laundry work Flexibility to assist in both housekeeping and laundry as needed Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who understands that a clean environment and fresh laundry are essential to our residents' comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
