Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our hotel team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. The Housekeeper plays a vital part in creating a welcoming environment for our guests by providing exceptional cleaning services on a daily basis. Responsibilities Perform daily cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure cleanliness and hygiene. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and other designated spaces within the hotel. Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and other amenities as needed in guest rooms and public areas. Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the appropriate department for prompt resolution. Follow established safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Adhere to hotel policies and standards regarding confidentiality, security, and guest privacy. Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to work efficiently independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Good physical stamina and mobility to perform repetitive tasks and lift light to moderate loads. Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties within designated schedules. Positive attitude, reliability, and professionalism in guest interactions and team collaboration.
