Job Description

We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a sign-on bonus of $1,000. This position is eligible for rate differentials, with total hourly compensation starting at $21.50/hour and reaching up to $22.75/hour (depending on role & shift). Schedule:
Full-Time:
Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:00
PM Some Job Responsibilities:
Support the health and wellness of all the individuals at their site. Prepare meals in accordance with prescribed diet orders, ensuring safety, appropriate texture and nutritional requirements are met. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards, including proper use of PPE and safe food handling practices. Plan menus, purchase food, and maintain appropriate inventory levels in accordance with nutritional and budgetary guidelines. Provides a safe and sanitary environment for the individuals. This includes but is not limited to completing daily cleaning and sanitizing of the residence and whenever possible supporting the individuals to participate in cleaning and completing household chores to the extent of their ability. Work as part of a team at the site(s) to ensure the best support for individuals and to achieve mutual goals. Be flexible and adapt to the ever-changing needs of the individuals they support. Bring any issues/concerns regarding individuals at their sites to the attention of management/nursing immediately to ensure prompt care. Support and encourage individuals to participate in household tasks and daily routines to the fullest extend of their ability. Report maintenance issues, safety concerns to management promptly.
Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED; Complete food handlers course; Experience supporting Individuals with Developmental Disabilities preferred; Complete and maintain
AMAP/SCIP/CPR
certification, as per Center's policy; Must be able to perform physical activities such as (but not limited to); twisting, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing. Must be able to sit, walk, drive, and stand for prolonged periods of time; Must be able to lift 50 lbs; Valid NYS Driver's License.
