Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met or exceeded Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques to keep surfaces spotless and safe Handle manual lifting of furniture or heavy items safely during cleaning or rearrangement tasks Use janitorial supplies responsibly while adhering to safety guidelines for cleaning detergents and equipment Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs or requests and provide friendly customer service during interactions Conduct outdoor work as needed for patio or garden area cleaning or maintenance tasks Manage time effectively to complete all assigned duties within scheduled shifts while maintaining high-quality standards Skills Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with strong janitorial or custodial background Skilled in various cleaning techniques including dusting, surface sanitation, carpet extraction, and floor care Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation and proper use of cleaning detergents for different surfaces Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently Excellent customer service skills with clear client communication abilities Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the shift Outdoor work experience is a plus for handling exterior cleaning responsibilities Familiarity with sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene compliance in all areas of the home Experience in housekeeping management or supervising other staff is advantageous but not required Join us in creating clean, comfortable homes where residents feel valued and cared for!
