What You'll Be Doing Residential deep cleans, standard cleans, and move-in/move-out turnovers Commercial/office cleaning Airbnb/short-term rental turnovers (fast turnaround, high attention to detail) Following provided checklists and client-specific instructions consistently What You Bring Minimum 2+ years of professional cleaning experience (residential and/or commercial) Your own reliable transportation — required, as job sites vary across the Columbus area Active business/general liability insurance — required, proof of both insurance and vehicle must be submitted prior to first project Own cleaning supplies and equipment preferred (or willingness to discuss arrangement) Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Reliable, punctual, and professional with clients Comfortable signing a subcontractor agreement (scope of work, confidentiality, non-solicitation) Smartphone for scheduling/communication Nice to Have Experience with Airbnb/STR turnover cleaning Own transportation with cargo space for supplies/equipment References from past clients or cleaning companies How to Apply Send a brief message with: Your cleaning experience (years, residential/commercial/STR) Proof of valid vehicle registration/insurance AND active business liability insurance (required prior to first project) Your availability (days/hours) Phone number for a quick call

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Experienced Cleaning Subcontractor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering top-quality cleaning services across various commercial and residential facilities. Your expertise in custodial tasks, equipment handling, and safety protocols will ensure environments are spotless, sanitized, and well-maintained. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a clean and safe space while working independently and demonstrating your professional cleaning skills. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal across multiple facility types. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial tools to ensure optimal performance. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper procedures for mixing, applying, and storing cleaning solutions to ensure safety and compliance. Conduct floor care activities including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance. Follow strict safety protocols during heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and when working with industrial cleaning agents to prevent injuries. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, safety checks, and equipment maintenance logs. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests and ensuring their satisfaction with the cleanliness of their facilities. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of commercial or industrial cleaning processes. Skilled in handling various cleaning equipment including floor buffers, scrubbers, and other custodial tools. Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation standards required for safe operations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices and safety protocols. Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness standards. Exceptional customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or team members.
