Job Description
Duties will include but not limited to floor care of common areas (running the push floor machine), strip and waxing and buffing floors using the mercury floor machine, vacuuming carpeted areas. Every other weekend this individual would work as a housekeeper. The housekeeping duties consist of cleaning of restrooms, common areas, resident rooms. There may be some housekeeping responsibilities throughout the week if someone in the department calls off. Any assistance in the Maintenance Department with projects and work orders would be appreciated but not required. Applicant must be able to speak fluent English. Hours are 8am - 4:30pm (these times are somewhat variable) and every other weekend. This is a full-time position 37.5-40 hours per week. Prior experience with floor care is required. Pay is negotiable. We offer a perfect attendance bonus of $1.50 per hour for not being tardy and not calling off which is paid out every two weeks. If you opt out of health care benefits and personal/vacation time and opt into our pay-in-lieu of benefits program, you will be compensated an additional $1.65 per hour.
