Full Job Description Job Overview:
The Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott is looking to fill (2) Housekeeping/Room Attendant Positions . These individuals will need to have an eye for detail and a desire to work together to build a strong team culture. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel guest rooms, linens and public spaces and exterior entrances ensuring that guests have a great first impression and an enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills and willingness to be flexible Duties Clean and sanitize guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas according to hotel/brand standards. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to ensure cleanliness throughout the hotel. Restock supplies in public areas as needed. Remove trash from all public trashcans on a regular basis. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist in laundry services as required (washing, drying, folding, stocking linens). Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and staff at all times. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Skills Strong background on customer service. Experience in housekeeping or industrial cleaning is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques and custodial practices. Ability to work independently as well as collaborate and partner up as a team. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and efficiently. Ability to move up and down stairs multiple times on a regular basis. Ability to reach overhead, push, and pull on a regular basis. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, kneel, and stoop on a regular basis. Marriott experience a plus.
