Job Summary The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming guest rooms and public areas while meeting hotel cleanliness standards and productivity expectations. Housekeepers are expected to provide excellent attention to detail and ensure every guest has a comfortable stay. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards. Make beds, replace linens, and replenish towels and guest amenities. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, bedrooms, and all room surfaces. Vacuum, dust, mop, and empty trash. Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns immediately. Turn in lost and found items according to hotel policy. Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in a clean and organized manner. Follow all safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals properly. Assist with cleaning public areas when needed. Work as part of the housekeeping team to meet daily occupancy demands Qualifications Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand, bend, push, and pull for extended periods. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and reliability. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. Work Environment This position requires frequent walking, bending, lifting, reaching, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high cleanliness standards and excellent guest service
