Job Description
Mount Aloysius College, repeatedly recognized by ModernThink as a "Great College to Work For," is seeking applications for a full-time . Current Opening The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of College buildings, including classrooms, offices, lounges, restrooms, hallways, and other public or common areas. Cleaning duties include but are not limited to vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and periodically scrubbing floors, washing windows, and shampooing carpets. Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Experience in housekeeping/custodial desirable. Ability to carry out assigned responsibilities independently in the absence of direct supervision and follow oral and/or written directions required. Ability to set work priorities and establish positive rapport with coworkers also required. Shift/s will be determined based on coverage needs. This position requires occasional evening and weekend hours to assist with special events. Background clearances including FBI Fingerprint, criminal history and PA child abuse required. This is a full-time, 12-month, benefit-eligible position. This role is not budgeted for visa sponsorship at this time; all candidates must be authorized to work in the US at the time of submission of their application.
