Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests and staff. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Weekends are Mandatory. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, and common areas. Carry out floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness. Sanitize bathrooms and kitchens to ensure hygiene standards are met. Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are clean and well-presented for guests. Provide carpet cleaning services as needed to maintain the appearance of carpets throughout the facility. Assist with light cooking duties when required, preparing simple meals or snacks for staff or guests. Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries. Manage housekeeping supplies efficiently, reporting any shortages or needs for replenishment. Collaborate with housekeeping management to uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization. Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred, particularly in hotel or commercial cleaning environments. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
