Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Sort, wash, dry, and fold all cabin linens. Remove stains using appropriate procedures. Transport soiled linens from cabins to laundry room. Pull linens from vacant cabins as needed. Inspect cabins prior to housekeeping arrival to ensure appliances have been turned off, doors and windows are secured, thermostats are set appropriately, and any other maintenance or guest-related issues are identified. Maintain a clean, orderly, and organized laundry facility. Help maintain supply levels by notifying office staff. Notify manager of any repairs needed.

Skills and Abilities:

Positive attitude with the ability to work and communicate well with others. Capacity for demanding physical labor in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand for long periods, remain in motion and life 30 pounds. Ability to assist in maintaining our standard of cleanliness. Valid driver's license, good driving record and reliable transportation.

Education/Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED 1 - 2 years housekeeping experience

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
