Job Description
Overview We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Laundry Attendants and Housekeepers to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall presentation of guest rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities. Your enthusiasm and commitment to quality service will ensure a welcoming environment for all visitors and guests. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in textile care, sanitation standards, and customer service within a vibrant hospitality setting. Duties Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, and, dryers Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, loading, unloading, and folding linens, andtowels. Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas by performing dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitation tasks. Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport laundry loads efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper handling of laundry detergents and chemicals to prevent accidents. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to laundry loads or cleaning supplies while maintaining proper manual handling techniques. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests related to laundry services or room cleanliness. Qualifications Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to operate garment care machines such as industrial dryers and garment care machines safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. Physical stamina to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, pushing carts, and standing for extended periods. Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
