•Covington Campus is looking for a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. Our Housekeepers play an important role in creating a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming home for our residents. Qualifications Housekeeping experience preferred; training provided to motivated individuals. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established procedures. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional and respectful communication with residents, families, visitors, and staff. Ability to safely use cleaning equipment, chemicals, and a step ladder. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting. High school diploma and institutional or healthcare housekeeping experience preferred. CPR and First Aid certification must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, hallways, offices, and other assigned areas. Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, buff, and maintain floors as assigned. Clean and disinfect bathrooms and high-touch areas. Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, windows, walls, doors, and other surfaces. Empty trash and maintain housekeeping areas, equipment, and supplies. Collect, wash, dry, fold, organize, and return resident laundry. Accurately track resident belongings to prevent loss or misplacement. Follow infection-control, chemical-handling, safety, and community procedures. Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and damaged equipment promptly. Help maintain the community in a state of readiness for state and regulatory inspections. Respect resident privacy, dignity, personal belongings, and individual needs. Assist with emergency, fire, and evacuation procedures as directed. Attend required training and in-service programs. Perform other duties as assigned.
