Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment. Perform window cleaning and floor care using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques to maintain spotless appearances. Handle laundry services for linens, towels, and guest clothing with care and efficiency. Use chemical handling procedures safely while applying sanitation standards across all areas. Operate cleaning machinery such as pressure washers and janitorial equipment to facilitate deep cleaning tasks. Maintain cleanliness in public areas by performing janitorial duties like trash removal, restroom sanitation, and surface disinfecting. Assist with custodial responsibilities in common spaces, ensuring infection control protocols are strictly followed for guest safety. Support heavy lifting tasks related to cleaning supplies, furniture, or equipment while adhering to manual handling safety guidelines. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all cleaning activities to safeguard health and safety. Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests promptly and professionally. Qualifications Proven custodial or janitorial experience with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning standards. Familiarity with various cleaning techniques including window cleaning, pressure washing, and floor care. Experience in handling cleaning chemicals safely and effectively while following health regulations. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting with proper technique. Knowledge of infection control practices and sanitation procedures in hospitality or healthcare environments preferred. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness standards consistently. Good physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shifts. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members alike.
