We are seeking a skilled Garde Manger to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing and presenting a wide variety of cold dishes and amuse-bouche, from fresh salads to elaborate appetizers, including crudos, carpaccios, tartares, fruit garnishes, dressing, etc., with a passion for Italian cuisine and an eye for details. Creativity and artistry in plating and garnishing are key to this role, as presentation is an essential part of our guests' dining experience. Responsibilities Prepare and plate cold dishes, including salads, antipasti, crudo, charcuterie boards, and other Italian appetizers Create visually appealing dishes with thoughtful garnishes and decorations that reflect authentic Italian style Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all cold dishes Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service Monitor and maintain inventory levels for the Garde Manger station; communicate supply needs to the Ex Chef and Sous. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the station at all times Contribute ideas for specials or menu items in collaboration with the culinary team Requirements 2-3 years of experience in an Italian restaurant, with specific experience in the Garde Manger station. Strong knowledge of Italian cold dishes and antipasti Attention to detail and a creative approach to plating and presentation Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards under pressure Team player with excellent communication skills Passion for Italian cuisine and hospitality Join our team and take pride in preparing dishes that reflect true Italian tradition, in a supportive and professional kitchen environment.
