Role:

We are looking for an individual with high character that we can trust to maintain the success of the finishing barn. This requires someone to be trustworthy, reliable, and willing to learn. This is a production position of high responsibilities to achieve our expected production targets. This person reports directly to the farm manager. We are looking for someone who is interested in being a part of an innovative family operation and finds value in the family atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

Daily pig care (following established protocols)
Vaccinations
Keeping Building Clean & Maintained
Monitoring Feed Inventory
Ensure barn is properly set up for incoming pigs
Pig handling-part of team to receive incoming SEWs & load out

Market Pigs Personal Skills Required:

Self-Starter
High character
Trustworthy
Reliable
Good work ethic
Attention to detail
Time management skills in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to bend repeatedly and lift 75 pounds
Able to walk several miles, on some days
Able to climb ladders to check bins

Extra Information:

Bio-security measures required
Yearly clothing allowance
Incentives, based on production numbers
Experience appreciated
Must be able to work both alone & with others

$50,000.00
