Lead at the World's Largest Turkey Hatchery Join Select Genetics — recognized as the world's largest turkey hatchery . We are seeking a strong, dependable Supervisor for our Hatch department to oversee daily production activities, lead team members, and ensure the highest standards of animal welfare and biosecurity during hatch operations. This is a hands-on leadership role critical to maintaining production flow, quality standards, and team performance. Position Summary The Hatch Crew Supervisor is responsible for: Supervising Back Crew employees during production Developing and ensuring implementation of Pull Order schedules Completing Hatchability paperwork and submitting documentations to the office Assisting as needed to keep production running efficiently Preparing the Pull Order for the following day Overseeing animal welfare and biosecurity protocols and procedures during production

Essential Duties:

Follow all company rules and regulations for biosecurity, animal welfare, and safety Work collaboratively as a team member to achieve company goals Quickly learn and apply information necessary to perform job duties successfully Demonstrate patience while supervising and coaching others Maintain flexibility and assist in various positions within the department as needed Work in conditions that include humidity, dust, soaps, and disinfectant odors Lift crates weighing up to 50 pounds Be available and willing to work extended hours when production demands Proven experience leading and managing teams (production, agriculture, food processing, or manufacturing preferred) Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills Comfortable working with individuals from different cultural backgrounds Ability to motivate, hold accountability, and build team morale Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends as needed Bilingual in Spanish/English is Required. Qualifications Previous poultry or hatchery experience preferred but not required. Prior supervisory or leadership experience required Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment Commitment to animal welfare, biosecurity, and workplace safety. Schedule flexibility and availability is a must for this role. We can guarantee when you start but cannot approximate when you finish as it depends on our production for the day: The following is an approximation: Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri Start Time is 2:30am until production is done (usually 10-13 hours) Wednesdays and Saturdays are 1/2 days with work starting @6am. (Usually 3-5 hours)

Sundays-Off Pay:

$21.30-$23.00 per hour — Agricultural (AG) Exempt Position This position is classified as Agricultural (AG) Exempt , meaning it is exempt from certain federal overtime requirements that may apply to other hourly positions under the agricultural exemption. Because of this classification, overtime pay is not guaranteed for hours worked over 40 in a workweek . The position's schedule is based on hatchery production needs and may include extended shifts and early-morning hours.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a live poultry production facility and requires strict adherence to biosecurity and safety protocols at all times. Exposure to dust, humidity, noise, and poultry allergens is expected.
