Overview We are seeking a dedicated Slaughter Floor Associate to join our team. This role involves working on the slaughter floor to ensure the efficient and safe processing of meat products. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and adhering to safety protocols. Prior experience in butchering, slaughtering, knife skills, or machinery use is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Responsibilities Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues Assist in the meat product production process, including slaughtering and processing animals as needed Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards throughout all stages of processing Use basic math skills for measurements, portioning, and quality control tasks Operate machinery involved in grinding meat or other processing activities with proper care and attention Support team members in daily operations on the slaughter floor to meet production goals Skills Ability to follow safety protocols diligently Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards Basic math skills for measurements and calculations Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Preferred butchering or slaughtering experience, including knife skills and machinery operation, though training will be provided for those without prior experience

Pay:
