Titus Farms is a small vegetable and flower farm located near Leslie, Michigan. We grow produce for our CSA program, local farmers markets, and other local customers. We are looking for two or three dependable people to help with farm work, produce packing, and farmers markets. Our biggest staffing needs for Farmers Market are Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Additional farm work is available on other weekdays, especially Tuesdays and Fridays. Hours vary depending on the farm's needs, the weather, and the applicant's availability. This position pays $15 to $17 per hour depending on experience and responsibility. It is part-time and seasonal and does not include employer-provided benefits.

Work may include:

Harvesting vegetables and flowers Washing, sorting, and packing produce Packing CSA shares and customer orders Weeding and maintaining crop areas Cleaning and organizing work areas Loading and unloading vehicles Setting up and working at farmers markets Helping customers and handling sales Farm work can be hot, muddy, repetitive, and physically tiring. It involves standing, bending, reaching, repetitive motions, and lifting loaded produce boxes. Farmers market shifts also require friendly customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work at a steady pace. Farm experience is helpful but not required. Experience in gardening, landscaping, food service, retail, customer service, warehouse work, athletics, or other active jobs can translate well. We are happy to teach someone who is dependable, curious, communicates clearly, and wants to learn.

Pay:
