Job Description

Relentless Eats is a growing meal prep company focused on providing convenient, nutritious meals to our customers. We are looking for a Kitchen Lead / Production Lead to take ownership of our weekly kitchen production and help us continue to grow. This is a hands-on leadership position. We are looking for someone who can work alongside our kitchen team, keep production organized and moving, and eventually manage the weekly kitchen operation with minimal involvement from the owner. What You'll Do Friday — Remote Planning & Prep Generate and place the weekly grocery and supply orders Review production needs and make sure everything needed for the weekend is accounted for Prepare bag, container, and other production labels/stickers Communicate any inventory or supply needs Complete other light administrative/prep tasks as needed Saturday — Prep & Setup Pick up and organize weekly groceries Lead the kitchen team through ingredient preparation Trim, portion, season, and marinate meats Prepare vegetables, sauces, and other ingredients Organize ingredients and production stations for Sunday Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and ready for production Sunday — Cooking, Assembly & Packing Lead the kitchen team through the production schedule Oversee cooking and food preparation Ensure recipes and portion sizes are followed Keep production moving efficiently and on schedule Assist with cooking and hands-on production as needed Coordinate meal assembly and packing Check finished meals for accuracy, quality, and presentation Ensure all meals are properly labeled and ready for Sunday delivery Maintain a clean and organized kitchen throughout production What We're Looking For Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, meal prep, catering, food production, or similar environment Leadership or team-lead experience preferred Strong organization and time-management skills Reliable and dependable Comfortable working independently and taking initiative Able to lead a small team while still being hands-on Strong attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Able to follow recipes, production lists, and portion specifications Must be comfortable working Saturdays and Sundays Food handler certification The Right Person for This Role We're looking for someone who doesn't need to be told what to do every step of the way. You should be able to walk into the kitchen, look at the production list, understand what needs to happen, organize the team, and keep things moving. This position is not a traditional restaurant manager role. It's a part-time production leadership position where you'll be actively involved in prepping, cooking, organizing, packing, and managing the team. The goal is for this person to eventually take over the hands-on weekly kitchen responsibilities from the owner, allowing the owner to focus on sales, customer growth, partnerships, and growing the business. Schedule & Compensation 12-15 hours per week
Friday:

Saturday:
Grocery pickup and ingredient prep
Sunday:
Cooking, assembly, and packing
Pay:
