Newtown Butcher is looking for a dependable and hardworking Ground Beef Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for safely operating meat-processing equipment and preparing ground beef products while maintaining quality, cleanliness, and food-safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Operate ground beef/grinding equipment safely and efficiently Prepare, grind, and process beef according to production needs Weigh, portion, package, and label products as needed Inspect products for quality and consistency Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas Keep the production area organized and stocked Follow daily production instructions and communicate with supervisors Assist with other meat production and packaging duties when needed

Qualifications:

Previous meat processing, butcher, food production, or machine operating experience is preferred but not required Ability to follow instructions and work safely around machinery Dependable and able to work well as part of a team Comfortable working in a refrigerated/cold environment Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with food production Attention to cleanliness, quality, and detail
